The Dartcom iDAP software allows images, animations and fax charts from all Dartcom acquisition systems to be displayed and processed using one fully-featured program. The Dartcom MacroPro software automates the powerful facilities provided by iDAP.

iDAP includes a wide range of professional-quality facilities for displaying, processing, printing and exporting images without compromising ease-of-use or accessibility. Its Multiple Document Interface allows many windows to be on-screen at once. QuickTime™ technology provides high-quality animations with editing facilities. MacroPro allows processing to be performed on images automatically when new data is received.

Handling of LRIT, HRIT, HRPT, CHRPT, GVAR, APT, WEFAX, PDUS and MDD data.
Navigation of polar-orbiter images to produce vector map overlays.
Comprehensive image enhancement facilities.
Creation of formula-based products such as SST, LST, NDVI and cloud height.
Cartographic reprojection with masking, slicing to extract clouds and mosaic creation.
DEM land and sea masking with slicing to extract clouds and variable opacity.
Exporting of HRPT and CHRPT data to PCI, ERDAS, ENVI and level 1B formats.
