Prediction Data

Dartcom X-Band EOS Systems and HRPT/AHRPT Systems use orbital prediction data to calculate the satellite pass schedule. Normally this is downloaded automatically by the Polar Orbiter Ingester software. Alternatively it can be downloaded manually below, or you can subscribe to our mailing list and receive the files via email.

Our prediction data includes a range of polar-orbiting and geostationary satellites used for weather and remote sensing. The files are updated every 2 hours with data sourced from CelesTrak.

The TLE format is limited to 5 digits for the satellite catalogue number. Sometime in 2026 these will increase to 6 digits, at which point TLE data will be unavailable for subsequently launched satellites. We therefore recommend users upgrade their software and switch to CSV data as soon as possible, as that has no such limit. See A New Way to Obtain GP Data for more information.
